Adrenal gland

This gland has two parts- a cortex and a medulla

Its cortex is further divided into three zones

Zona glomerulosa, which produces mineralocorticoids

Zona fasciculata, which produces glucocorticoids

Zona reticularis, which produces sex hormones.

Its medulla secretes catecolamines (epinephrine and nor-epinephrine).
