  • Fracture of dome of talus is not common
  • Fragments taken off lateral or medial corners of the body of talus (trochlea tali).
  • Caused by forcible shift in the mortise of the talus
 
 
  • Reduction
  • Excise the fragment if small.
  • Use pin in internal fixation if fragment is large.
