Causes Diagnosis Management
   
  • Reduction and manipulation of fragment fracture under general anesthesia. This is achieved by adduction and internal rotation of ankle.
  • Full above the knee plaster.
  • If soft tissue interposition prevents union, then use internal fixation with oblique screw.
  • After fixation place on non weight bearing plaster, and then replace with above the knee plaster with knee slightly flexed or patella bearing plaster all for 10 weeks. Allow weight bearing after 4 weeks
