Causes Diagnosis Management
 
  • Direct injury to the lateral side of knee (adduction injury), especially when the subject is bearing weight.
  • If not too severe, it causes  a sprain.
  • If severe enough, it will cause a rupture
  • If more severe, it causes rupture of anterior cruciate ligament also.
