Causes Diagnosis Management
  Ligaments include

Ligamentum patellae

Oblique popliteal

Arcuate  popliteal

Tibial collateral

Fibular colleral

Anterior cruciate

Posterior cruciate

Transverse genual

 

 
  • Exposure of knee.
  • Repair of ruptured ligament(s) surgically within 7-10 days of the injury(ies).
  • Place in plaster cast for ankle  for 8-12 weeks
  • Early quadriceps exercise.
Extensor rotation injury Flexion rotation injury
