Superficial arteries are found in the superficial fascia and the large ones are found deeper than the deep fascia. The brachial artery can be approached from the roof of the cubital fossa  or radial artery  can be reached at the radial aspect of the anterior surface of wrist.  Feel the pulsation before attempting to puncture it.
