Putaminal hemorrhage

 

This refer to bleeding into the putamen, a structure placed in the lentiform nucleus of the corpus striatum. This bleeding occurs in one of the putaminal branches of the medial striate artery which supply the lentiform nucleus. Medial striate artery is from the middle cerebral artery.
