Psychosis

 

This  major psychiatric ailment with the major symptom of thought disorder which could be either thought insertion or thought broadcasting. It may exist with or without delusions which are abnormal beliefs held despite all reasonable arguments to the contrary and also contrary to the person's culture. It may also include hallucinations which is abnormal sensory perceptions such as visual, auditory, tactile or other hallucinations.

  1. Decrease activity of norepinephrine and serotonin neurotransmitter system
  2. Exaggerated  function of part of dopamine system- schizophrenia
