Neutrophil

 

Granular leukocyte o white blood cells which has multi lobed nucleus with up to 3-5 lobes It is capable of responding to bacterial infection and pus forming bacterial invasion. It is also called polymorphonuclear leucocyte or granulocyte since it is granulated although its granules are inconspicuous and stain neutral with Romanowsky group of stains.
