Cervical cycle

 

This is the cyclicity of the cervix. It is recognized clinically by the mucus it produces. The mucus is eggwhite at ovulation (last day of eggwhite is the day of ovulation), pap at late follicular phase and dry at the beginning of follicular phase. The mucus secretions produced by cervical gland cells in the epithelium of the endocervix.
