This technique can be used to deliver the after coming head in breech presentation. In this technique flexion of he head is maintained by the middle finger which is placed in the mouth of the baby with the two other fingers next to it, that is, the index and ring fingers are placed beside the nose while the index finger of the other hand pushes on the occiput to maintain further flexion. Force is then applied to the after coming head outwards and upwards.
