In this technique the infants back is lifted towards the mother's abdomen once the scapulae are visible. Further lifting of the baby's back coupled with supra-pubic pressure will force the head into the pelvis. The after coming head may then be manipulated by any of the methods described previously such as forceps for after coming head, etc.
