Horner's syndrome

In this syndrome there is paralysis of the cervical sympathetic nerves. This leads to the following on the affected side

  • Eyeball is sunken
  • Pupillary constriction
  • Moderate lower eyelid elevation
  • Ptosis of upper eyelid
  • Palpebral fissure narrowing
  • Anhidrosis
  • Flushing of the face
