Vital signs schedule:
Introduction

Vital signs are signs of life. They determine the state of alertness of the individual and that of life also. They include temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate and finally blood pressure. All the above are zero at death and alter remarkably when the individual is close to death. In certain diseases they also provide diagnostic signs which may then be useful in monitoring patients' health or response to treatment.
