German measles

 

Also called 3 day measles, or German measles, or rubella.  It is caused by rubella virus .A rash is formed after exposure to the virus after 2 weeks  which last for 3 days, with swollen glands, fever, sore throat, fatigue with joint pains may occur. If pregnant  (in early pregnancy) it may lead to congenital rubella syndrome (CRS) or miscarriage. CRS may led to cataract, deafness, and heart and  brain affections.
