Dermatophytosis of foot

 

Broad term for dermatomycosis which refer to superficial fungal skin infection of the hair, skin or nails caused by a dermatophyte such as Trichophyton (most common) and also Microsporium and Epidermophyton and they include tinea capitis, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea unguium, tinea corporis, tinea barbae and onchomycosis, as well as deep fungal skin infection such as Candida etc
