Keloid

Keloid is an exaggeration of the hypertrophic scar formation which is accumulation of collagen after injury to skin. Hypertrophic scar regresses but keloid does not. Proud flesh, which is excessive granulation tissue may progress to hyertrophic scar which may later become keloid.
