Taenia saginata

 

A cestode worm which parasitizes the intestine of carnivores and in ruminants exists as larva - e.g. cattle. Man also eats the meat of ruminants which contain the larval forms that develop into adult tapeworm in the human intestine. This is called beef tapeworm.
