Compact bone explanatory video

Osteoblasts, we have mentioned help to secrete the matrix of bone and they therefore represent an important part of the cellular basis of bone connective tissue. But the large and multinucleated osteoclasts are equally important being able to produce substance that destroy or break down bone. The two cells are therefore under the control of different hormonal factors. While the osteoclasts are under the influence of parathormone from the parathyroid gland.
