Large lumen

Large organs which are hollow can be divided into those which possess one form of cartilage or the other as will be seen in the respiratory hollow organs of the trachea and the major bronchi. The no cartilage organs are mainly found in the digestive and reproductive systems. In the digestive system, the presence of papillae aid the identification of the esophagus, while villi shape and height aid the identification of other parts of the system.
