PP cell

 

  

 

PP cell is endocrine cell which is also APUD cell distributed around the duodenum and pancreas. It also contains small granules and its granules react with antibovine pancreatic polypeptide serum. It is therefore thought to be the site of the production of pancreatic polypeptide.
