 Adrenal gland

 

This gland has two parts- a cortex and a medulla

Its cortex is further divided into three zones

 

Zona glomerulosa, which produces mineralocorticoids

Zona fasciculata, which produces glucocorticoids

Zona reticularis, which produces sex hormones.
