INTERNAL PUDENDAL VEINS

 

ORIGIN: Prostatic venous plexus


COURSE/DRAINAGE
: These are venae comitantes of the internal pudendal artery which begin in the prostatic venous plexus. The venae comitantes follow the internal pudendal artery and later become a single vessel. They empty into the internal iliac vein.

TRIBUTARIES:

bullet Penile bulb veins
bullet Scrotal or labial veins
bullet Inferior rectal vein.
