Subclavian seal syndrome

This affects the subclavian artery; there is a block of this artery

Costoclavicular syndrome

This is caused by compression of the subclavian artery at the apex of axilla by muscles which surround this aperture - sternocleidomastoid, trapezius and levator scapulae.
