Layer 4 of palm - Superficial palmar arch layer

These layers are imaginary, based on dissections of the palm. This layer contains the following

fibrous flexor sheath of index finger
2
proper digital artery (from radialis indicis) and nerve (from radial nerve) for the index finger
3 fibrous tunnel for long flexors
4 lumbricals
5 flexor pollicis  brevis
6 abductor pollicis brevis
7
flexor retinaculum (cut)
8 palmaris longus
9 tendons of flexor digitorum superficialis
10 superficial branch of
radial artery (forms part of superficial palmar arch)
11 superficial branch of
ulnar artery (forms part of the superficial palmar arch)
12 abductor digiti minimi
13 flexor digiti minimi
14
proper digital branches of ulnar artery /ulnar nerve  15 common digital branches of median nerve for the thumb
16 communicating branch of
ulnar nerve
17 dorsal branch of ulnar nerve/ dorsal carpal branch of  ulnar artery with flexor carpi ulnaris tendon
18 extensor carpi ulnaris tendon
19

20 recurrent branch of
proper digital  branch of ulnar artery /proper digital branch of ulnar nerve
