Veins

bullet

A single suprarenal (left and right) vein, which drains into the inferior vena cava directly on the right and the renal vein on the left. The right suprarenal vein may create problems for surgical right adrenalectomy because of its course into the inferior vena cava.

Nerves:

These are from the suprarenal plexus, which is under the group of celiac plexuses. It contains fibers which are mainly sympathetic secretomotor to medullary chromaffin cells. These fibers are preganglionic. Greater splanchnic nerve (T5-10) pieces crus of diaphragm to enter the celiac ganglion, aorticorenal ganglion and suprarenal gland.
