LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE OF HEAD & NECK

The region of head and neck is drained by  two main lymphatic groups

Superficial cervical group

Deep cervical group

Deep cervical nodes are further divided into two groups

Superior deep cervical nodes

Inferior deep cervical nodes

They end up in the jugular trunks which enter the thoracic duct on the left or the right lymph duct on the right.
