ANTERIOR ULNAR RECURRENT ARTERY

ORIGIN: Ulnar artery

COURSE/DISTRIBUTION: Arises from the ulnar artery below the elbow and passes upwards between the brachialis and pronator teres in order to reach the reach the inferior ulnar collateral artery which is a branch of the profunda brachii, anastomosing with this vessels anterior to the medial epicondyle of the humerus.

BRANCHES: Muscular branches which suplly the pronator teres and the brachialis. It takes part in the elbow anastomoses
