Transverse Head: Transverse metatarsal ligament and 2nd to 5th metatarsophalangeal ligament forming the capsules of their joints

 

INSERTION:   Lateral side of base of proximal phalanx of the big toe

 

ACTION: Adductor of big toe

 

NERVE: Deep branch of lateral plantar nerve
