ORIGIN:  Humeral head:  Common flexor origin from medial epicondyle of humerus

Ulnar Head: Sublime tubercle of coronoid process of ulna

Radial head: Oblique line of radius

 

INSERTION:  Base of middle phalanges of the medial four digits forming a tunnel for the passage of the tendons of the flexor digitorum profundus tendons

 

ACTION:  Flexor of digits, carpus and forearm

ARTERY: Radial, Ulnar arteries, muscular branches 

NERVE:  Median nerve
